Dragon chicken



Learn how to make Dragon Chicken, an Indo Chinese Recipe at home. It’s easy and delicious. This dry and spicy dish is just great. Dragon chicken could be served as a side dish or as a main dish and goes well with fried rice, plain rice, rotis and chapattis.



Ingredients:
  • Chicken(boneless) – 250 gm
  • Mixture of sliced broccoli, capsicum, carrot – 3/4 cup
  • Onion (finely chopped) – 1
  • Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 tsp
  • Spring onion  2nos (finely chopped)
  • Red chilli flakes – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce – 2 tsp
  • Vegetable oil
For marinating:
  • Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Kashmiri chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce – 1/2 tsp
  • Egg white – of 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
Preparation:
  1. Cut the chicken into thin strips.
  2. Marinate the chicken strips with the ingredients for marinating except corn flour and egg white and keep it for 30 mins.
  3. Add corn flour and egg white to the marinated chicken and mix well.
  4. Deep fry the chicken strips in oil until golden brown and crispy and keep it aside.
  5. Pour 2 tsp of oil in another pan.
  6. Add finely chopped garlic, chopped onion and sliced vegetables and sauté it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the red chilli flakes and sauté for a minute and add the soya sauce and tomato sauce.
  8. Add the fried chicken strips and mix well and sauté for 2 more mins.
  9. Garnish well with chopped spring onions .
  10. Serve it hot with fried rice/ plain rice/ rotis /chapattis.
