Learn how to make Dragon Chicken,
an Indo Chinese Recipe at home. It’s easy and delicious. This dry and
spicy dish is just great. Dragon chicken could be served as a side dish or as a
main dish and goes well with fried rice, plain rice, rotis and chapattis.
Ingredients:
- Chicken(boneless) – 250 gm
- Mixture of sliced broccoli, capsicum, carrot – 3/4 cup
- Onion (finely chopped) – 1
- Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 tsp
- Spring onion 2nos (finely chopped)
- Red chilli flakes – 1 1/2 tsp
- Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce – 2 tsp
- Vegetable oil
For marinating:
- Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Soya sauce – 1/2 tsp
- Egg white – of 1 egg
- Salt to taste
Preparation:
- Cut the chicken into thin strips.
- Marinate the chicken strips with the ingredients for marinating except corn flour and egg white and keep it for 30 mins.
- Add corn flour and egg white to the marinated chicken and mix well.
- Deep fry the chicken strips in oil until golden brown and crispy and keep it aside.
- Pour 2 tsp of oil in another pan.
- Add finely chopped garlic, chopped onion and sliced vegetables and sauté it for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the red chilli flakes and sauté for a minute and add the soya sauce and tomato sauce.
- Add the fried chicken strips and mix well and sauté for 2 more mins.
- Garnish well with chopped spring onions .
- Serve it hot with fried rice/ plain rice/ rotis /chapattis.
