Chocolate Pudding




How to make silky smooth Chocolate pudding...



Ingredients:

3 cups milk
4 egg yolks
¾ cup sugar
1 pinch salt
¼ cup corn flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp of unsalted butter
¼ cup cream
2 tbsp chocolate chips

Method:

Whisk together sugar, salt, cocoa powder and corn flour.
Then whisk milk to make a thick paste.
Add egg yolks and whisk to this mixture.
Pour this mixture into a sauce pan and heat it .
Whisk continuously while heating the mixture.
Stop heating while bubbles appears and splutters.
Add the butter and chocolate chips to the hot mix and whisk well to dissolve it.
Transfer the contents into a bowl.(can use a sieve to avoid lumps)
Place in the refrigerator for about four hours so that the pudding can chill and settle.

Strawberry Jam



Wanna make a simple jam…Grab some fresh strawberries and try on…



Ingredients:

2 Boxes of Strawberries
2 Cups of sugar
3 Cups of water
1 Lemon

Method:

Wash the strawberries and remove its green part.
Cut into small pieces.
Put these pieces into a blender and add 1 cup of water.
Grind well until it becomes a smooth mixture.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan along with 2 cups of sugar and lemon juice.
Boil the mixture for about 30-45 mins.
Keep stirring.
Remove the pink foam that may appear on top of your jam mix.
Boil the mix till it becomes thick .
Jam is ready when it is red or dark pink in color.
Pour the hot jam into glass containers.
Close the lid only when the jam becomes cool.
Put the jam containers in refrigerator.
Take out and use as required.

Cold Coffee With Vanilla Icecream




Feeling hot??Enjoy Cold Coffee with Ice Cream this evening..and refresh yourself... 



Ingredients:

Cold milk 1 1/2 cup
Vanilla ice cream 2 scoop
Coffee  powder 1 1/2 tsp
Sugar 3 tsp
2 tsp of Chocolate syrup or chocolate powder 

Method:
Dissolve Coffee powder and sugar in 3 tbsp of warm water.
Blend the above mix with cold milk and 1 scoop vanilla ice cream till it becomes foamy.
Pour it to serving glasses.
Top with 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Garnish it with chocolate syrup or powder.
Serve chilled.

Chilly Fish




Chilly Fish is a very unique Indo Chinese combination. Just simple and elegant. It goes well with noodles and fried rice. Here is an easy recipe to prepare it. 



Ingredients:

Fish fillets 8
Egg 1
Garlic paste 1tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Pepper powder 2 tsp
Chilli powder 1tsp
Corn flour 4 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Chilli sauce 2 tbsp
Tomato sauce 2 tbsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Onion 1
Green chilli 2
Ginger- a small piece
Coriander leaves - 2 sprigs
Oil
Salt

Method:


Cut the Fish fillets into small pieces. Mix the soya sauce, ginger- garlic paste, salt, lemon juice, chilli powder, pepper powder ,egg and corn flour. Marinate the Fish pieces with this mix for about 30 mins. Deep fry these pieces. Heat  4 tsps of oil in a frying pan. Finely chop the onion, ginger and green chillies. Add these to the pan and saute it for about 5-7 mins. Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, and fried fish to it. Mix them properly and heat it for  5 mins. Sprinkle  chopped coriander leaves over it. Remove from heat and serve.
